About Easol
Easol bridges the gap between idea and adoption – enabling individuals and teams to break out new ways of thinking, new ways of working, and new products and services. Our approach has led us to a wide variety of projects, including the adoption of complex digital tooling in Policing and the Ministry of Justice and the development of new products and services in SMEs.
Bullfrog Technologies
Bullfrog Technologies is a startup developing innovative inspection methods for composites manufacturing. We’re looking for someone who’s excited to help build not just the technology, but the business itself—engaging with customers, collaborating with our engineering team, and shaping the future of quality control in advanced manufacturing.
The Role
This is a hands-on, cross-functional role ideal for someone with a strong foundation in Inspection (knowledge of NDT) and composites, and a passion for solving real-world manufacturing challenges. You’ll work closely with our technology team, customers, and partners to help implement and refine our inspection solution while contributing to the growth of Bullfrog Technologies.
This is a full-time hybrid role, but we will also consider part-time. Minimum attendance of 3 days per week from our Fareham site.
Responsibilities include:
 * Work with the engineering team to implement and optimise active thermography inspection using robotic arm systems.
 * Assist in developing scanning protocols, calibration procedures, and data collection methods.
 * Support testing and validation to ensure accurate defect detection.
 * Help bridge the gap between cutting-edge inspection tools and day-to-day production.
 * Engage with customers and consortium partners to understand real-world manufacturing challenges.
 * Support pilot deployments and gather feedback to improve inspection workflows.
 * Communicate technical insights in a clear and accessible way to stakeholders.
Process Mapping & Documentation
 * Map and document current manufacturing workflows across the composite line.
 * Identify quality control points and opportunities for inspection or process improvement.
 * Create visual documentation—flowcharts, SOPs, work instructions.
Quality System Development
 * Support the creation and rollout of inspection standards and quality procedures.
 * Help define data collection methods and quality metrics.
 * Contribute to root cause analysis and corrective actions.
 * Work closely with technical and production teams to understand composite manufacturing challenges.
 * Participate in problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives.
 * Stay current on inspection technologies, quality methodologies, and industry best practices.
Qualifications
We’re looking for someone who brings energy, curiosity, and a willingness to learn. The following attributes would be helpful (we don’t expect candidates to have all of them, but it would be advantageous):
 * Knowledge of composites and their manufacturing processes.
 * Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
 * Clear communication skills and ability to document processes effectively.
 * Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
 * Will to engage with customers.
 * Understanding of AI image recognition and machine/deeplearning.
 * Infrared physics understanding, signal/image processing, and numerical analysis skills.
 * Understanding of infrared thermography and heat transfer principles.
 * Experience with AI-based defect detection, machine learning, or deep learning applied to thermographic data.
£35,000 to £40,000 full-time permanent position (open to part-time).
Application Process:
These are the projected timelines for the application process.
