In this exciting role, you’ll collaborate closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to create delicious, beautifully presented dishes that consistently exceed our guests' expectations. You’ll take ownership of a specific kitchen section, ensuring every plate meets our high standards for quality, speed, and consistency.
What You Will Be Doing...
* Leading a kitchen section and guiding junior team members while preparing dishes according to company specifications.
* Maintaining impeccable cleanliness and hygiene throughout service, including a thorough end-of-shift clean.
* Monitoring and recording food temperatures in line with company processes.
* Completing food prep before and during service, and restocking your section as needed.
* Maximizing profit margins through accurate portion control, minimal waste, and consistent dish quality.
* Receiving and storing deliveries correctly, following stock rotation and food safety guidelines.
* Communicating clearly and professionally with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service.
* Adhering to all health & safety standards, including allergen policies and hygiene procedures.
* Carrying out deep-clean tasks as requested by the Head Chef.
About You...
* Experience in a leadership or supervisory role within a high-volume kitchen environment.
* The ability to thrive under pressure and stay organized during busy service periods.
* A genuine passion for creating high-quality food that enhances the guest experience.
* Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends, evenings, and bank holidays.
* A Food Hygiene Level 2 certificate (or equivalent).
