We are seeking a reliable and proactive Cover Supervisor to support one of our partner schools in the West Bromwich area. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a school environment and is committed to maintaining a positive and productive classroom atmosphere when teachers are absent.
The ideal candidate will be organised, confident, and able to manage a variety of classes across different subjects. Whether you’re looking for full-time or part-time hours, we are flexible and eager to find the right match for both you and the school.
Role Responsibilities:
* Supervise classes in the absence of the regular teacher, following provided lesson plans
* Maintain a positive and disciplined learning environment
* Support students with tasks and ensure work completion; report any behavioural or learning issues to the relevant teaching staff
* Assist with administrative duties as needed
* Work collaboratively with teaching and support staff to ensure smooth school operations
Ideal Candidate:
* Will have previous experience working as a cover supervisor
* Will have excellent behaviour management skills
* Will have an enhanced child DBS on the update service
* Be confident and enthusiastic
* Will uphold a professional and positive manner when representing schools you are booked in
