Job Description
As the Billings Specialist your responsibilities include:
3. Manage billings process for Project Managers
4. Issue WIP reports for bill run, produce draft bills, finalise invoices.
5. Invoice one off Planning Application fees.
6. Transfer chargeable time, advise on disbursements, action write offs, make note of provisions and issue credit notes using Sage 200, Excel and WAP.
7. Produce missing timesheet report to chase all Project Managers/Secretaries and assist with timesheet input.
8. Update finance spreadsheets and client projects records for weekly reporting (invoice table, WIP summary, job codes spreadsheet and Sage 200).
9. Review Aged WIP when required with Project Managers to ensure the declared revenue is correct and accurate accounting procedures are followed (provision, bill or write off, carry forward for future billing).
10. Provide fee analysis to Project Managers on an ad hoc basis (billed fees/time written off).
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will have:
11. Experience in WIP billing
12. Experience in the professional services sector within billings
13. Strong experience with excel
14. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
15. Ability to start within 1 week notice
