Class 1 Multidrop Driver Days

Our client is a third-party provider of transportation and logistics services that offers a range of services from, Drayage, Global freight forwarding & Full truckload transport. The company is committed to environmental sustainability and works with customers to create action plans to reduce emissions.
We're looking for Class 1 Days Drivers to join us at our site in Banbury on a casual basis. This role is best suited for those who do not require full time work and are just wanting to increase their weekly hours by a shift or two.
Typical shifts start times are between 05:00 & 07:00 and the shifts will typically last between 10-12 hours. All trailers are loaded by the distribution centre and are unloaded by the client - so there is typically no manual handling involved.
Though this is a casual role initially, candidates who get on well will be considered for permanent roles if this was sought after.
What you'll do on a typical day:
* Multidrop deliveries of household cleaners (no ADR required) between customer sites across England (includes London so must be happy travelling through / around this area).
* Ensuring all loads are strapped securely to transport
* Remove curtains for the customer to unload as required
* Ensuring all manual and digital paperwork is signed as needed
* Safely operate your vehicle adhering to business standards.
* Vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with VOSA.
What you need to succeed with our client
* Must have a multidrop experience and a minimum of 2 years HGV experience
* HGV1 licence, Digital Tachograph Card, Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)
* No more than six penalty points on your licence and no DD, DR, IN or CD endorsements.
* A valid CPC and Digital Tacho card.
* Excellent knowledge of the UK road network.
* A can-do attitude
* Must be able to pass an onsite assessment
