The CTRM Architect will lead the design and implementation solutions within the energy trading and risk management (ETRM) domain. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of the trading/commodities domain, coupled with a strong technical background and the ability to align business requirements with IT strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the architectural design and integration of CTRM solutions in wider eco-systems
* Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient architectural solutions
* Ensure the proposed solutions align with the overall business objectives and IT strategy
* Develop high-level product specifications with attention to system integration and feasibility
* Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams
* Establish and enforce best practices, coding standards, and development methodologies
* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise during implementation and post-deployment phases
* Present architectural plans and progress updates to senior management and key stakeholders
* Foster strong relationships with business units, ensuring their needs and expectations are met
Requirements
* Previous experience in an architecture role
* Experience with CTRM integrations
* Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale projects
* Proficiency in both hands-on work as well as architectural principles
* Experience with cloud platforms and services (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
