Job Description
Role:\n\nManufacture, repair or modify complex Radar, Avionics and Underwater electronic assemblies.\nSkills to exceed industry standards such as IPC and ANSIJ.\nRequires flexibility to move between product range/contract.\nAble to work with no supervision and limited engineering support. \n\nRole Responsibilities:\n\nAssemble/process electronic assemblies in accordance with defined work instructions or detailed technical drawings.\nRepair/modify current and legacy electronic assemblies.\nBe able to work with limited data utilising experience.\nUse business systems to record product history/compliance.\nSupport and assist in the training of personnel.\nWork unsupervised \n\nKnowledge:\n\nMay have previous experience as a "Production Operative".\nHave a good understanding of an assembly discipline such as wiring, fitting, PCB assembly, or similar.\nHave a medium range of product experience and medium expertise in discipline.\nUnderstand and comply with all relevant Business Management System (BMS) procedures. \n\nSkills:\n\nAble to perform assembly/disassembly or modification tasks on electronic or mechanical components, subassemblies and systems - encompassing new build, and repairs products.
\n\nQualifications:\n\nBe formally qualified in appropriate Workmanship Standard e.g. ANSI J, IPC or similar (Preferred on qualification - experience is essential) \n\nSecurity:\n\nBPSS Only\n\nThis role requires you to obtain a basic disclosure along with employment reference checks before starting
