We are looking for Care and Support Bank Workers to join our dedicated care teams on the Isle of Wight. As a bank worker, you will respond to the care and support needs of residents, assisting with personal care, maintaining a safe environment, following health and safety requirements, and updating care plans and risk assessments.
Locations include Ryde, Sandown, Newport, Ventnor, and across the island (driver essential).
Previous experience is preferred, but not essential. We value energy, enthusiasm, and commitment to improving residents' quality of life. We will provide training and support, including opportunities for professional qualification studies.
The location
You will work at various schemes around the Isle of Wight, including Newport, Sandown, Shanklin, and Ryde.
What you’ll be doing
* Providing care/support as per individual care plans, including personal care when required.
* Promoting independence, rights, respect, choices, and community inclusion.
* Responding to emergencies and summoning professional assistance if needed.
What you’ll need
* Good interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
* Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
* Basic IT skills.
* Driving license and access to a vehicle.
