About the Role
Our client, a successful and fast-paced main dealer in Reading, is looking for an ambitious and customer-focused Car Sales Executive to join their team. With a competitive basic salary, a realistic OTE of up to £65,000, and access to a wide range of stock, this role offers excellent earning potential and career progression.
The ideal candidate will be confident, target-driven, and passionate about delivering an exceptional customer experience while maximising every sales opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
Greet, assist, and guide customers through the car buying journey.
Deliver a tailored and professional sales process from enquiry to handover.
Proactively prospect and follow up with new and existing customers to generate sales.
Present finance, insurance, and add-on products compliantly to maximise profitability.
Maintain up-to-date product knowledge and training on brand and models.
Achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets and KPIs.
Ensure all documentation and administration is completed accurately.
Skills & Experience Required
Previous experience in car sales within a dealership environment (main dealer experience advantageous).
Proven track record of hitting and exceeding sales targets.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Strong customer service focus with the ability to build lasting relationships.
Highly motivated, resilient, and driven to succeed.
Confident IT skills for CRM/DMS systems and online sales platforms.
Full UK driving licence.
