What you'll be doing?
Our Sales Advisers help customers find their dream home and provide excellent customer service throughout the sales process.
You will need to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with customers, understand their needs, and requirements. These skills include listening, questioning, empathy, product demonstration, and closing skills.
Reporting to a Sales Manager, your responsibilities will include:
1. Demonstrating comprehensive local knowledge including amenities, schools, transport links, and competitors.
2. Having a thorough understanding of our product and pricing.
3. Effectively following up leads to convert enquiries into site visits.
4. Utilising our sales methodology, schemes, and incentives effectively to close sales.
5. Achieving sales targets in line with business requirements.
What you'll need?
To be successful in this role, we are looking for:
1. Experience in delivering sales in a service environment such as housebuilding, retail, hospitality, banking, or estate agency.
2. Commercial awareness with a good understanding of the market and competitors.
3. Ability to understand and act upon customer needs to maintain the company's reputation.
4. Resilience and drive to achieve personal and organizational targets.
5. Ability to remain calm and controlled under pressure.
6. Keeping up to date with legislation, economic conditions, and technology.
7. Persuasive communication and negotiation skills to influence others and build rapport with customers.
8. Openness to change and exploring new ways of working to support the growth of the sales operation.
9. Ability to support and share knowledge with team members.
10. Building relationships across functions, internally and externally.
11. A self-starter who works effectively without direct management.
12. Excellent communication skills.
13. IT literacy.
14. Flexibility to work weekends and bank holidays.
15. Willingness to travel, sometimes at short notice.
16. Holds a full driving license and has access to a vehicle for business travel.
