We want motivated, high‑energy Support Workers to join our growing team in Exeter and the areas around it. We want to hear from you if you’re willing to get your hands dirty, think on your feet, and help amazing people—kids, teens, or adults—live their best lives.
What Sets This Role Apart?
This isn’t simply a job; it’s an opportunity to be a hero in someone else’s life. You will be working with people who have Autism, Learning Disabilities, Complex Care needs, and mental health issues. We want people who know that behaviour is a kind of communication and who are experts at calming things down with a lot of creativity and serenity.
We help both kids and teens and adults. If you have experience in one or both, you’ll be joining a team that values knowledge and celebrates both big and small wins.
Requirements
* Age: 21 or older (because of service regulations).
* Licence and transportation: You need a complete UK driving licence and your own car; being able to move around is quite important.
* Experience: You need to have worked with kids and teens for at least a year (adult experience is a big plus).
* Skills: Strong communication, very good observing skills, and experience with strategies to calm people down.
* Vibe: Lots of energy, a good attitude, and the capacity to stay calm under pressure.
Shift Patterns
We know that life isn’t a 9‑to‑5 job. We have different shifts so that we can care for people 24 hours a day, seven days a week. You have to be available for:
* Early Shift: 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
* Late Shift: 2:45 PM to 9:45 PM
* Waking Night: 10:00 PM to 7:15 AM
* Weekends: Every other weekend is required.
Salary & Benefits
* Good Pay: Starting at £15 an hour, however you can negotiate based on your skills and experience.
* Higher Rates: Bank holidays come with extra money.
* Contracts that can change:
o Full‑Time: 37.5 hours a week.
o Part‑Time: 20 to 24 hours a week.
o Bank Positions: For people who want to be able to change their hours (must be able to say when they are available 7 days in advance).
o Flexible Working: Do you require a schedule that works for you? Please talk to us. We are willing to talk about flexible work hours for full‑time applicants when they apply.
Visa Sponsorship
We are happy to have a Sponsor License with an A rating. Please be aware that we cannot guarantee visa sponsorship to everyone who needs it, though. We are glad to look at applications for part‑time and bank jobs as long as they meet visa criteria. Please make it explicit on your application if you need sponsorship so we can check your eligibility.
Why Join Us?
* A team culture that cares about your health as much as your clients’ health.
* Chances to improve your skills in behavioural support, autism, and complex care.
* The chance to work with both kids and adults, which will make your experience interesting and gratifying.
* A fun, professional place to work where your skills and energy are really valued.
