Job Title: Lead Radiographer – Community Diagnostic Centre
Salary: £48,500 - £52,500 + 35 Days AL + Pension + Private Medical Insurance + more
Location: Stourbridge
Working Hours: 37.5 hours – 4 day week
This is a permanent position in the west midlands area based in a new Community Diagnostic Centre providing CT and MRI scanning services for an NHS hospital.
* We are looking for a dynamic and innovative medical professional to join our team as a Lead Radiographer.
Responsibilities:
* Provide clinical leadership to the imaging department.
* Maintain partnership with the NHS hospital and other stakeholders.
* Lead imaging quality standards to meet QSI and ISO accreditation for the imaging centre.
* Support the Director of Clinical Operations in carrying out duties as a registered CQC manager.
* Support with external visits from inspectors.
* Maintain relevant document records for inspections by external accreditation bodies.
* Develop, introduce and ensure adherence to policies and procedures in line with local rules.
* Radiation protection supervisor of the centre providing support and guidance for junior staff.
* Support training and development of programs for staff as well as successful completion of competency assessments.
* IR(ME)R and MRI safety is met.
Requirements:
* HCRP Registration.
* BSc in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent.
* UK based experience is essential.
* Theoretical and clinical CT and/or MRI skills is essential.
* Previous experience in a Lead role is beneficial.
* Previous line management/supervisory experience is desired.
* Ideally RPS trained, however training can be provided.
* Knowledge of local rules, clinical governance and SOPS.
