Minimum 1+ years speech therapy experience required.
An opportunity exists for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to support students within a K-12 educational setting in Orange Park, FL. This role is designed for the upcoming school year and involves working closely with children to address a variety of speech and language needs through a contract position.
Qualifications:
* Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
* Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
* Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
* Experience working in school settings, particularly with K-12 students.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and collaborate with educational staff.
* Knowledge of various speech and language disorders and effective intervention strategies.

Responsibilities:
* Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations to determine students' speech and language needs.
* Develop and implement customized therapy plans aligned with IEP goals.
* Provide direct speech and language therapy in one-on-one and group settings.
* Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students overall development.
* Monitor student progress and adjust therapy techniques as needed.
* Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student progress as required by the school.
