About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and organised Part-Time Administrative Assistant to join the team of a welcoming primary school in Wigan. This role is essential in supporting the smooth running of the day-to-day school schedule & providing professional and efficient support to staff, clients, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
* Greeting visitors and handling tele and email enquiries in a professional manner.
* Providing general administrative support including filing, data entry, and word processing.
* Maintaining accurate records and updating databases.
* Assisting with scheduling meetings, preparing documents, and organising office resources.
* Supporting colleagues and management to ensure the office runs efficiently.
Essential Requirements
* Previous experience in an administrative or office-based role.
* Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* A proactive, flexible, and organised approach to work.
