We invest in new and existing homes, provide money advice and wellbeing, employment and training support and build strong partnerships to support inclusive growth.We have an exciting position available for a Financial Inclusion Specialist to join us!Youlldeliver a customer-focused financial inclusion service to help customers manage their finances and improve their financial capability avoiding legal action and potential eviction.This role is designed to empower residents to sustain their tenancies byprovidingcomprehensive welfare benefits advice, including support with Housing Benefit and Universal Credit, alongside tailored money guidance. You will manage casework, refer to appropriate external organisations, and advocate on behalf of residents with creditors and the DWP, while ensuring they receive their full benefit entitlement and support with grant or charitable fundingapplicationswhereappropriate.Whatwerelooking for: Experience providing personal financial advice and guidance. Knowledge and experience of provision of welfare benefits advice including relevant legislation such as Welfare Reform Act 2012 Computer literate with experience of housing management systems and case management systems. Able to design and deliver Financial Inclusion training courses for One Manchester customers Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative to meet required deadlines.
