Your impact within Jacobs Energy & Power and Buildings & Infrastructure teams includes leading a key growth area, building on our portfolio of BESS work with developers, contractors and investors. You will be accountable for tasks and responsibilities including
* Active market engagement and client relationship management to grow BESS portfolio and pipeline, with support from the Business Development team.
* Leadership on project development, including site layouts, optimisation, concept design and feasibility studies.
* Leading on project advisory and Owner’s Engineer scopes of work, including tendering, contracting support, construction monitoring and management, and technical services.
* Leading Technical Due Diligence and Lender’s Technical Advisor scopes of work.
* Building and developing a BESS team.
Here’s what you’ll need
* Degree qualified in Engineering or equivalent qualifications and experience.
* Track record of leading the delivery of Front‑End Engineering and design or detailed design of BESS projects.
* In‑depth knowledge of UK & Continental Europe BESS market, key growth areas and global market insight.
* Extensive design consultancy experience, delivering to organisations such as developers, contractors and TSO/DSOs.
* Ability to lead, manage and grow diverse teams.
* Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
* Ability to maintain existing and develop new client relationships.
* Experience in coaching and developing junior talent.
* Flexibility to travel to client sites when required.
* Capability to work under tight deadlines while achieving objectives with the ability to deal with competing priorities and manage time appropriately.
