We currently have the following opportunity: Supply Social Care Officers - PKC12755 £17.04 per hour Woodlea Cottage, Perth We are looking for supply Social Care Officers to join our team at Woodlea Cottage to cover shifts on a flexible basis. Woodlea Cottage is a respite unit for children and young people with complex needs residing in the Perth and Kinross area. Skills & Experience Required The successful applicants should have experience of working with children with additional needs, be registered with Disclosure Scotland at PVG level (or be prepared to register) and be flexible in relation to when they can work. You will be motivated, adaptable, work well with young people, the staff team and other professional. You will be keen to learn new skills and experiences. Ideally you should have a SVQ 3 and HNC - but consideration will be given to applicants who do not have these qualifications but are willing to work towards achieving them Working at Perth & Kinross Council Our values and behaviours influence our work and support us in the delivery of our key priorities. This role requires you to be registered with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC), if you are not yet registered, you can still apply, as long as you are willing to apply for registration within 3 months of starting with us and be registered within 6 months.
