Job Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our neonatal team at Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust (BHRUT). Our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit is one of the largest and busiest Level 2 units in London, caring for babies born at 27 weeks gestation. We pride ourselves on providing an environment where these tiny neonates can grow, thrive, and develop. The unit comprises 32 cots, including 3 intensive cots, 8 high dependency cots, and 21 special care cots, managing a wide range of medical cases within these culturally diverse boroughs.
We have a dedicated multidisciplinary team including Neonatologists, Advanced Neonatal Nurse Practitioners, Clinical Nurse Specialists, neonatal community outreach, and a dedicated Education Team providing clinical training and support. We also collaborate with allied health professionals to deliver family-centered and psychosocial care.
We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, flexible, and positive neonatal qualified nurse to join our team, providing high-quality care for our babies and their families.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will care for a group of babies within the Neonatal Unit independently, utilizing and developing specialist skills to deliver assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of individualised care. You will contribute to the management of the clinical area.
