Grounds Maintenance / Habitat Management (Full Time)
Role:
We are seeking an ambitious, motivated and competent team player who is a confident communicator with enthusiasm and skills to join our friendly and busy consultancy based on the South Wiltshire/Hampshire border.
As a part of our Habitats Team you will be working as part of a small team undertaking wildlife habitat management across central and southern England. All equipment and training will be provided. This role will be suited to an experienced grounds maintenance operative with a desire to learn ecological survey techniques and wildlife habitat restoration and creation methods.
Primary duties will include:
-Habitat management
-Habitat restoration and creation
-Working within a small team
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
-Self-motivated, confident and enthusiastic with a keen desire to learn
-Proven experience working effectively within a team
-1+ years’ experience working in grounds maintenance
-A full clean driving licence and access to own vehicle
-Interest in wildlife habitat management
Desirable Qualifications and Experience:
-Valid CSCS Card
-IPAF Operator Training Certification for Static Boom (1b), Mobile Vertical (3a) and Mobile Boom (3b)
Salary and Benefits:
-Salary negotiable and depending upon experience
£25,400 - £27,000 per annum
