We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to children and families, ensuring their well-being and development. Responsibilities
* Assist children with daily living activities and personal care as needed
* Develop and implement individual care plans tailored to each child's needs
* Engage children in educational and recreational activities to promote their development
* Maintain open communication with families, providing updates on progress and any concerns
* Collaborate with other professionals to ensure comprehensive support for each child
* Drive to various locations as required for home visits or community activities
* Utilise IT systems for documentation and reporting purposes
Experience
* Previous experience working with children is essential
* Background in childcare or related fields is highly desirable
* Familiarity with developing and following care plans is an advantage
* Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, families, and colleagues
* A valid driving licence is preferred for transportation duties
* Proficiency in IT applications for record keeping and communication
