The Role As an experienced Music Teacher, you will: Deliver high-quality music lessons to students across Key Stage 3, 4, and 5, ensuring they develop both practical and theoretical knowledge of music Develop a varied curriculum that inspires students and fosters a love for music, including teaching music theory, composition, and performance skills Guide students in individual and group performances, enhancing their instrumental, vocal, and composition skills Collaborate with the music team to refine and improve the curriculum, ensuring it meets the needs of all students and encourages them to reach their full potential Assess student progress through regular feedback, helping students track their development and achieve academic success Lead and contribute to extracurricular activities, such as school concerts, ensembles, and music clubs, creating additional opportunities for student engagement in the subject Take a leadership role within the department, mentoring junior staff and supporting the strategic direction of the music programme Inspire students to connect music to their broader educational experience, fostering an understanding of how music enriches their lives and the world around them What We Are Looking For We are looking for a highly skilled and passionate Music Teacher who is committed to delivering outstanding music education.
