At Honesty Group, we’re not just another coffee shop, we're a home away from home. Our spaces are built for real people: dog-lovers, book clubbers, regulars, friends, families. We don’t do gimmicks. Just good coffee, good food, and good people.
Everything is handmade we have our own food production, from our sourdough loaves to our pastries and hot food and sandwhiches.
We care deeply about where our ingredients come from, and don’t hide behind fine print.

What You’ll Do
As part of our team, you’ll help bring our vision to life every day:
* Serve exceptional coffee and freshly baked bread, cakes & pastries (all made by hand!)
* Look after customers chat, laugh, listen, make them feel at home
* Help in food prep, checking temperatures and food safety, following our high standards
* Support events, take phone orders, answer enquires
* Keep things clean and welcoming: tables, floors, toilets, indoor/outdoor areas
* Do stock work: take deliveries, rotate stock, display products, run fridge checks
* Help with end-of-day tasks: log waste, cash up, lock up
* Use our systems (laptop, Slack, email) to stay in the loop

As a purpose-built visual arts and craft building, the venue comprises of an 110sqm gallery, artists’ studios and a workshop space for participatory classes, this is a busy and exciting place to work.
Striving to be a flagship visual arts venue in West Berkshire, The Natural History Museum’s Wildlife Photographer of the Year 54 exhibition launched the inaugural gallery programme. Displaying some of the best wildlife photography from across the globe, the exhibition comprised of 100 photograph across 7 categories and is renowned for attracting millions of visitors around the world every year.
The Base is also home to 8 visual artists and craft makers as well as Open Studios West Berkshire and North Hampshire, who present their annual INSIGHT exhibition at The Base every May.
