Lead Full Stack Engineer – AXA Health
AXA Health is investing in digital transformation and we need an experienced Lead Full Stack Engineer to deliver our digital roadmap, lead engineering teams and shape strategy.
Responsibilities
* Leading an agile engineering team, inspiring excellence, setting best practices and ensuring correct designs and implementation.
* Driving design, development and ongoing support of integrations surrounding our strategic customer platform, focusing mainly on frontend but able to move into backend.
* Acting as a line manager and mentor for members of the development team.
* Promoting continuous improvement within technology areas and across the IT department.
Qualifications
* Proven experience leading a high‑performing engineering team.
* Expertise in building and delivering high‑quality, well‑tested integration solutions in frontend technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript and React.
* Ability to deliver complex solutions on time and within budget.
* Hands‑on experience building CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code; Azure DevOps and Azure platform preferred.
* Good understanding of current and emerging technologies.
* Ability to translate business strategy into technical solutions and business requirements into technical design.
* Experience in Microsoft C# .NET, such as APIs, serverless functions and messaging workflows, ideally on Azure.
* Understanding or experience integrating with Salesforce is desirable.

Location
Remote and office locations in Leeds, Middlesborough, Bristol, Tunbridge Wells and Bournemouth. A minimum of two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) in the future.
