Willows Montessori Nursery is a small setting based in a semi-rural location. We provide care and education for children from Birth to 5 years following the Montessori Method of Education.
We are looking for an enthusiastic Early Years Apprentice to join our team. An understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage and the Montessori Approach to Education would be advantageous although not essential. Previous experience of working with children would be preferable, though not essential to the apprenticeship role.
Candidates must hold GCSE qualification (or equivalent) at Level 4 in Maths and English.
Candidates should be enthusiastic about working with children from birth-5 years and willing to take on a "hands-on" role within the nursery. Apprentices will gain experience of working within all age ranges from birth-5 years. The apprentice will support teaching staff within the nursery and will be given the opportunity to lead activities and perform day to day tasks with children. The apprentice will be supported in their role by a mentor within the setting and by the college tutor.
The successful candidate must undergo an enhanced DBS check and register for the update service.
