Our client is seeking to expand their highly experienced commercial team with the addition of a Assistant Quantity Surveyor.
Position Overview:
The ideal candidate will have some experience in a commercial role, and while fit-out experience is a plus, it is not mandatory. This position offers ample opportunities for learning and professional development.
Our client, with an impressive project pipeline for the next 12 months, provides the successful candidate with exposure to high-end, bespoke projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Managing/Assisting with final accounts
* Pricing variations
* Producing Bills of Quantities (BOQ)
* Assessing sub-contractor works
* Procurement
* Processing invoices
Key Experience and Skills:
* Knowledge of construction projects (fit-out trade/subcontractor experience is advantageous)
* Understanding of various project packages
* Ability to ensure projects remain profitable and within budget
