The Technical Representative Lead will act as a key influencer of On’s grassroots initiative to service and support retailers in the Midwest Region. On is the most exciting and fastest growing global running shoe brand. Our success is based on exclusive and selective collaboration with the best retail partners we can find, and it is your job to ensure they are delighted with the level of service we provide them.
This role will drive the growth of our team of Tech Reps in North America to educate, support, and build relationships with the key players and markets we focus on. Your ultimate goal is to maximize trial opportunities and help runners experience the fun of running with On gear.
Your Mission
1. Manage a growing Technical Representative team of 7+ including recruiting and hiring additional team members
2. Develop and coach individual Representatives to enhance their skills and career growth potential
3. Promote On’s current Technical Representative Program vision and bring innovative ideas
4. Build strong relationships with Owners, Buyers, Managers, and Sales Associates within North America
5. Lead and execute dealer training experiences, such as Oniversity, multiple times a year, and support other events as needed
6. Develop analytical tools in Salesforce to track team progress and inform decisions
7. Coach the team to be respected, trusted, and liked by retailers
8. Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Trade, Customer Service, and Finance teams
Your Story
1. 6+ years of experience in roles such as Technical Representative Manager, Technical Representative, or Sales Representative
2. Proven relationships within the industry across the country
3. Ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously
4. Strong interpersonal and communication skills for building collaborative teams
5. Knowledge of Salesforce and Looker is a plus
6. Experience in event production and outside-the-box thinking for team growth
7. Creative approaches to engaging retailers and customers uniquely for On
8. Willingness to travel up to 60% of the time, depending on business needs
9. Possession of a valid driver’s license and willingness to undergo an MVR check
