This is more than just an apprenticeship — it’s an opportunity to become part of the team helping recruit and onboard drivers supporting the Sizewell C Power Station project.</p><p>You’ll gain first-hand experience within a fast-paced, high-volume recruitment environment, helping attract, support, and onboard drivers who play a vital role in keeping this major project moving.</p><p>With full training, mentoring, and ongoing support, you’ll develop the skills, confidence, and experience needed to build a successful long-term career in recruitment whilst gaining a<b> recognised recruitment qualification.</b></p><h3>What You’ll Be Learning</h3><p>As a Recruitment Apprentice you’ll gain experience in:</p><ul><li>Recruitment and talent attraction</li><li>Candidate screening and onboarding</li><li>Interview coordination and communication</li><li>Compliance and Right to Work processes</li><li>Recruitment systems and administration</li><li>Customer service and stakeholder management</li><li>Working within a fast-paced transport environment</li></ul><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Support the end-to-end recruitment process for driver roles, from application through to onboarding.</li><li>Assist with creating and posting job adverts across recruitment platforms and social media channels.</li><li>Communicate with candidates throughout the recruitment journey, providing a professional and positive experience.</li><li>Coordinate interviews, assessments, and onboarding activities.</li><li>Support recruitment events, job fairs, and driver assessment days.</li><li>Maintain accurate candidate records and recruitment documentation.</li><li>Assist with arranging medical appointments and completing Right to Work Checks.</li><li>Learn compliance processes required for working on high-security and regulated sites.</li><li>Provide excellent customer service to candidates, managers, and colleagues.</li><li>Support general recruitment administration tasks.</li><li>Build strong working relationships with internal and external teams.</li><li>Ensure all recruitment activities are completed professionally and in line with company procedures.</li></ul><h3>About you</h3><p>We’re looking for someone with enthusiasm, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn.</p><p>You should have:</p><ul><li>Good communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>Strong organisation and attention to detail</li><li>A friendly, professional, and customer-focused approach</li><li>Confidence working both independently and as part of a team</li><li>A willingness to learn new systems and processes</li><li>Basic IT skills, including Microsoft Office</li><li>A proactive attitude and strong work ethic</li><li>An interest in recruitment</li></ul><h3>Qualifications and Experience</h3><p><b>Essential</b></p><ul><li>GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths</li><li>Full UK Driving Licence</li><li>Interest in recruitment or people-focused roles</li></ul><p><b>Desirable</b></p><ul><li>Previous customer service or administrative experience</li><li>Knowledge of Microsoft Office packages</li></ul><h3>What We Offer</h3><ul><li>Full training and support throughout your apprenticeship</li><li>Hands-on recruitment and onboarding experience</li><li>Experience supporting recruitment for the significant Sizewell C Power Station project</li><li>Career development opportunities within SPS Bus</li><li>A supportive, inclusive, and people-focused working environment</li><li>The chance to develop professional skills that can lead to long-term career opportunities</li></ul></div>
