Civil Engineer£35,000 - £45,000BournemouthWe’re working with a respected multi-disciplinary consultancy that is expanding its Christchurch office and looking for a Civil Engineer to join their growing team.This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career engineer with strong technical foundations and the ambition to grow. You’ll receive mentorship from highly experienced managers while contributing to a wide range of development and infrastructure projects.The role:Developing highway and drainage designs for S104, S38 and S278 applicationsContributing to drainage strategies, SuDS design and Flood Risk AssessmentsProducing drawings, reports and calculations using Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and Causeway Flow / MicroDrainageSupporting project managers with technical inputs to multi-disciplinary schemesLiaising with clients and external stakeholders to support project deliveryLearning and developing through exposure to varied project work and close mentoringWhat we’re looking for:Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)Early consultancy experience in highways and/or drainage designFamiliarity with design standards and UK approvals processesTechnical ability in Civil 3D, Causeway Flow / MicroDrainage, and AutoCADStrong problem-solving skills and a collaborative approachAmbition to progress towards Chartered statusWhat’s on offer:£35,000 – £45,000 salary (DOE)Mentorship and structured career progressionSupport with professional qualifications (IEng / CEng)25 days holiday + bank holidaysPension scheme, private healthcare and flexible benefitsHybrid working optionsThis is the ideal role if you’re a civil engineer looking to take the next step, with clear progression opportunities and the support to achieve your professional goals.
