Job Summary
The Passenger Assistant plays a vital role in ensuring a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable journey for passengers. This position involves providing assistance to individuals with varying needs, including the elderly and those with disabilities, while maintaining a high standard of customer service. Duties
* Assist passengers in boarding and alighting from vehicles safely and efficiently.
* Provide support to individuals with mobility challenges, ensuring their comfort throughout the journey.
* Offer information regarding routes, schedules, and services to enhance the passenger experience.
* Maintain a friendly and professional demeanour while interacting with passengers and colleagues.
* Address any passenger queries or concerns promptly and effectively.
* Ensure that all safety protocols are adhered to during transportation.
* Assist in the maintenance of cleanliness within vehicles and at pick-up/drop-off locations.
Qualifications
* Strong customer service skills with a focus on passenger satisfaction.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey information clearly.
* Ability to work well under pressure and handle challenging situations with patience.
* Previous experience in a customer-facing role is advantageous but not essential.
* A compassionate attitude towards assisting individuals with diverse needs.
