Trainee Vehicle Damage Assessor (West Midlands)£34,000 - £38,000 + Company Car + Flexible Hours + Remote Working
BirminghamAre you from a motor trade background looking for an off-the-tools role with full training to become a VDA Engineer, with fully flexible working hours, a company car, and a variety of work travelling to different sites every day?
In this role you will be split between travelling across the West Midlands in a provided vehicle to assess damage on a range of vehicles and working from your home office. Building on your understanding of mechanics or bodywork, you will be trained further through initial shadowing to become an expert in this niche field.
Founded 40 years ago, this company have grown every year since founded and pride themselves on being a trusted family run business which now cover the entire UK. Covering all types of commercial and private vehicles, you will be inspecting cars, plant, bikes and even HGVs.
This role would suit a mechanic or someone who has an understanding of cars, looking for a flexible role which is off the tools, learning a new skill whilst staying within the motor industry.The Role:
* Completing vehicle inspections and investigations
* 50/50 split between travelling to sites and working from home
* Covering a small West Midlands patch
* Record and estimate all repair information
* Monday to Friday, 40 hours a week, flexible working hours
The Person:
* Motor trade experience (Mechanic / Body shop or similar)
* Looking for an off-the-tools, mobile role
