Accounts Payable Assistant Cambridge (Hybrid – 4 days office based) Up to £31,000
CV Screen is recruiting an Accounts Payable Assistant for an exciting opportunity based in Cambridge, with four days per week in the office. This is a fantastic chance to join a well-established, growing organisation operating across a nationwide portfolio of commercial sites within the food and retail sector. You'll become part of a supportive finance team, playing a key role in managing supplier payments and property-related costs. The position offers a salary of up to £31,000 plus an excellent benefits package, making it ideal for someone looking to build long-term finance experience within a stable and progressive business. Duties & Responsibilities Process supplier and rent-related invoices accurately and to deadlines
Assist with payment preparation, reconciliations and month-end support
Maintain organised financial records and audit trails
Respond to routine supplier and landlord payment queries
Support rent recharges and internal finance administration tasks
What Experience is Required Previous experience in accounts payable or finance administration
Strong attention to detail with good Excel skills, including lookups, SUMIF, and pivot tables
Ability to manage multiple deadlines within a team environment
What Experience is Desired Experience supporting external audits
Exposure to commercial property leases or service charges
Experience using Microsoft Dynamics (Great Plains) or similar finance systems
Background in a franchise or retail estates environment
Salary & Benefits Salary up to £31,000 per annum
