Job Overview
Join the Haematology CNS Team as a Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) and work closely with Haematology Consultants to provide care for haematology patients on both Royal Gwent and Nevill Hall Hospital sites. The CNS will be a key member of the multidisciplinary team, leading and developing the Lymphoma team and acting as the Cancer Key Worker to undertake regular Holistic Needs Assessments and refer patients to appropriate agencies.
Main Duties
* Provide person‑centred care to a caseload of haematology patients, primarily lymphoma patients.
* Take a lead role in ensuring robust cross‑cover exists across hospital sites, providing cover when necessary to maintain continuous and autonomous nursing service.
* Contribute to the operational and strategic development of the lymphoma service, maintaining professional standards and ensuring timely intervention and high‑quality patient care.

Qualifications
* Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
* Significant experience in haematology nursing.
Desirable
Ability to speak Welsh; English and/or Welsh speakers are welcomed.
