Job Description
Junior Accountant key recponsibilities:
3. Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
4. Assist with the preparation of financial reports and statements.
5. Support month-end and year-end close processes.
6. Reconcile accounts, including bank statements and ledgers.
7. Collaborate with the accounting team on budgeting and forecasting activities.
8. Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
9. Support audits and implement recommendations for financial improvements.
10. Contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting processes and systems.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Junior Accountant should have:
11. Strong foundational knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
12. Ambition, hard working, and a passion for career development.
13. 3/4 years of experience, preferably at AAT level 4.
14. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
15. A proactive attitude towards learning and problem-solving.
16. The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
