IT Procurement Manager - FTSE100 £Multi-Billion Household Name
Location: Hybrid options with multiple UK offices
Salary: £70,000-80,000 + 20% bonus + shares + wider package

In a brand new opportunity, this £Multi-billion FMCG firm are seeking an experienced IT Procurement Manager to join a dynamic team that is industry-recognised for their excellence in procurement. This is an exceptional opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the procurement strategy of a major player in the procurement arena.
You would be joining the team at a critical time, contributing to a £2.4 billion, 3-year technology investment strategy spanning 50 initiatives, meaning you will benefit from significant engagement with senior leadership, offering opportunities for career advancement and notable achievements. You would be operating in a fast-paced, transformation-driven procurement team focused on sustainability and strategic initiatives. This providing you with the opportunity to make a significant impact and demonstrate the value of procurement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic IT Category Management: Lead and implement strategic sourcing processes for the IT category. Showcase your expertise in developing and driving category strategies that align with business objectives.
- Contract Management: Draft, negotiate, and manage comprehensive IT contracts, ensuring optimal terms and conditions. Your focus will go beyond price to include total cost of ownership and service-based contract considerations, emphasizing KPIs and SLAs.
- IT Industry Expertise: Demonstrate deep knowledge in complex IT spend areas to be a subject matter expert amongst complex stakeholder groups. Engage with the market, adapt to new trends, and drive commercial value through strategic procurement initiatives.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders at all levels, to challenge the status quo and drive forward new ideas whilst ensuring alignment and delivery of meeting business needs
Requirements:
- Proven experience in IT procurement, strategic sourcing and category management with a track record of managing high-value contracts and negotiations.
- Expertise in strategic sourcing and category management within the IT industry.
- Strong commercial acumen and understanding of how to drive deeper value from Tier 1 suppliers successful negotiation, whilst still maintaining a strong hold on their performance
