Purpose of the Role
To provide support within the Contracts Management team by assisting with the coordination, administration and delivery of construction projects. This entry‑level role is designed for a school/college leaver or early‑career individual with a genuine interest in construction management, offering a clear pathway into a Contracts Manager position.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist Contracts Managers in overseeing day‑to‑day project delivery
* Liaise confidently with site teams, subcontractors, suppliers and clients
* Help ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to quality standards
* Support with preparing and maintaining project documentation and reports
* Attend site meetings and contribute to effective communication between all stakeholders
* Develop knowledge of construction processes, contracts administration and project management systems
* Build strong working relationships across all levels – from bricklayers on site to senior staff and clients
Person Specification
* Enthusiasm to build a career in construction management
* Confidence and ability to communicate with people at all levels – from site operatives to clients
* Educated to A Level standard (or equivalent) as a minimum
* Basic IT skills (Microsoft Office)
* Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly
* Full UK driving licence (or very close to obtaining)
