Primary Teaching Assistant Job Description: Work closely with teachers to create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment. Provide 1:1 support to students, ensuring their individual needs are met. Cultivate a welcoming and secure classroom environment that instils a sense of importance, respect, and enthusiasm among all learners. Collaborate with fellow educators and be an invaluable team player. The ideal Primary Teaching Assistant: Has a genuine love for working with children and an unwavering dedication to their growth. Has strong communication skills, both with students and fellow team members. Is patient, understanding, and has the ability to adapt to various learning styles. Holds an enhanced and up-to-date Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check on the update service, or be willing to apply for one through anzuk. No classroom experience is necessary, but any suitable background in working with children is required.
