About The Role
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Sales Support Specialist to join our team in Eastleigh.
This position is suitable for an individual with high-quality customer service, excellent organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities, seeking a new challenge. The main purpose of the role is to manage the commercial aspects of the UK MMS business to ensure high service levels for our distribution partners.
Responsibilities
* Manage the product mix within the team’s portfolio through price lists and quotes to meet targets and maximize margins. This includes making pricing decisions and liaising with factories on lead times.
* Act as the link between distribution partners and product managers/factories on new product development. Provide pricing feedback and updated quotes as products are finalized and market-ready.
* Collaborate with sales and product management to ensure distribution partners understand our product range through ongoing communication and training.
* Review monthly sales data from distribution partners and conduct regular meetings to ensure sales growth actions are on track.
* Work closely with the Logistics Manager to ensure SAP is updated with costs and lead times, optimizing the supply chain to meet plans and growth targets.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Previous experience in customer service or a similar commercial role within a manufacturing environment is preferred.
* Curious learner with a desire to develop skills.
* Knowledge and experience with SAP are advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Excellent organizational abilities.
* Ability to analyze problems quickly and propose solutions.
* Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
* Passion for delivering high-level customer service.
* A full valid UK driving license is essential, as travel is required approximately one day every fortnight, primarily covering the South East.
