Senior Architectural Technologist
Location: London
Salary: £45-52,000
An established and growing architectural team in London is seeking a Senior Architectural Technologist to play a key role in the technical delivery of projects. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a Senior Architectural Technologist to lead work from RIBA Stage 4 onwards, translating design intent into coordinated and buildable solutions across a range of sectors.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the technical development and delivery of projects from RIBA Stage 4 through to completion
Produce and manage comprehensive technical drawing packages including plans, sections, elevations, schedules and detailed construction information
Coordinate technical design information with internal teams and external consultants
Work closely with clients, consultants and contractors to support successful project outcomes
Ensure all technical documentation meets current Building Regulations, housing standards and warranty requirements
Apply strong technical expertise to ensure designs are practical, compliant and well coordinated
Essential Qualifications and Experience
Proven technical expertise gained on medium to large scale projects, ideally within residential or mixed use developments
Strong proficiency in Revit
Solid understanding of current Building Regulations
Experience leading project teams and collaborating with clients, consultants and contractors
Demonstrated ability to produce detailed working drawing packages and coordinate information effectively
Strong communication skills with the confidence to take initiative and work independently when required
Extensive experience working on projects typically valued at £5m or more
Track record of delivering projects across RIBA Stages 4, 5 and 6, particularly within residential and commercial sectors
Advanced technical detailing skills and a strong understanding of modern construction methods
