Food and Beverage Administrator - Luxury 5 Hotel

We are currently recruiting for an organised and detail-oriented Food and Beverage Administrator to support the Food and Beverage team within a luxury 5-star hotel. This role will provide comprehensive administrative support to the Assistant Food & Beverage Manager and outlet managers, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the department.
The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining a professional office environment, supporting restaurant reservations, and delivering a seamless experience for both guests and colleagues.

The Role
The Food and Beverage Administrator will be responsible for the following:
Providing administrative support to the Food & Beverage management team
Managing correspondence, menus, and departmental documentation
Maintaining organised filing systems and office procedures
Coordinating diaries, meetings, and taking minutes when required
Managing office supplies and ensuring all areas are well maintained
Handling telephone and email enquiries in a professional manner
Meeting and greeting guests and conducting show rounds
Supporting restaurant reservations, including confirmations and guest requirements
Ensuring clear communication of booking details across departments
Assisting with research, promotions, and competitor analysis
Coordinating deliveries and maintaining office organisation
The Person
The successful Food and Beverage Administrator will have the following:
Previous experience within hospitality or an operational role
Strong administrative and organisational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Experience with Opera and Delphi systems is highly desirable
Good knowledge of food and beverage operations
Excellent written and spoken English
Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
A proactive and self-motivated approach
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Immaculate presentation and attention to detail
A team-focused attitude with the ability to work under pressure
Additional Information
Working hours are typically between 9am and 5pm, with flexibility required to meet business needs
The role operates on a 5 days out of 7 basis, including weekends and key seasonal dates
Flexibility is required to support business needs
