Northamptonshire Police are looking for a dynamic Recruitment Manager to lead our resourcing strategy and help shape the future of our workforce.
What You’ll Do
* Lead recruitment delivery aligned with strategic workforce planning for Police.
* Develop and implement innovative recruitment strategies to meet future workforce needs.
* Provide expert advice to senior leadership on resourcing and selection.
* Ensure compliance with employment law, best practices, and internal policies.
* Collaborate with national partners and stakeholders to drive best practice and innovation.
* Lead and develop the Recruiting and Talent Acquisition Officer.
What We’re Looking For
* Chartered CIPD membership (or working towards it) or equivalent senior resourcing experience.
* Proven track record in strategic resourcing and workforce planning.
* Strong knowledge of employment law and recruitment compliance.
* Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and stakeholder management skills.
* Experience in budget management and business continuity.
* Desirable: Public service resourcing experience and knowledge of Police Regulations.

Recruitment and Selection Policy
Internal applicants who are at risk of redundancy or in need of redeployment and pass the selection process, will be offered the role over the remaining internal and external applicants.

Police Barred and Advisory lists
Individuals placed on the Police Barred and Advisory lists will not be considered for employment for a minimum of 5 years from the date of listing in the case of gross misconduct, or 3 years from the date of listing in the case of poor performance.
