Insurance Risk Professional - Fully Remote

In this position, sitting within 2nd line, you will partner with 1st line operations across the business, including Claims, Underwriting, and Distribution, to support effective risk identification, assessment, mitigation, and monitoring activities.
You will provide oversight and challenge on 1st line risk management processes, controls, and decision-making, focusing on operational and conduct risk. Your responsibilities include supporting the enhancement of the company’s risk management framework, leading RCSAs, developing risk assessments, and conducting risk appetite monitoring with 1st line stakeholders.
You will assist in preparing and delivering risk and compliance reports to senior management, Board committees, and regulatory bodies as needed.

We are seeking an experienced Risk professional from the Financial Services sector. Broad experience across multiple Risk disciplines, including Operational and Conduct Risk, is desirable. Previous Insurance experience is advantageous but not essential.
You should have experience developing risk assessments, executing RCSAs, and possess an analytical mindset, curiosity, and eagerness to learn. Excellent communication skills are essential.
