About the Role
As a Teacher of English, you will:
• Deliver engaging and stimulating English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach KS5 depending on experience
• Inspire students through the study of literature, language, and effective communication
• Encourage critical thinking, confident expression, and a love of reading and writing
• Plan, assess, and adapt lessons to meet the needs of all learners
• Contribute positively to departmental development and wider school enrichment activities
About You
The ideal candidate will:
• Be a qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) or have relevant subject expertise
• Have strong subject knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for English
• Be committed to high standards of teaching, learning, and student achievement
• Enjoy working collaboratively with colleagues and supporting students beyond the classroom
