Job Title: Specialist Teacher for the Autism/CCN (Complex Communication Needs) Team - 0.6 Role
Salary: MPS/UPS + SEN 1-2 SEN allowance dependent on relevant experience and/or Masters level autism qualifications
Hours: 19.5 Hours per Week
Location: Fieldworker and Pershore Civic Centre

Responsibilities
* Manage a multi-age caseload within Worcestershire, providing bespoke assessments and support and contributing to the diagnostic pathway and statutory work for the Local Authority.
* Build and maintain professional relationships with schools and partners to develop their practice and contribute to the wider strategic plan of Worcestershire County Council.
* Conduct assessments in a range of settings including schools, colleges, nurseries and homes; report writing can be carried out in the office base or from home.
* Be supported through a careful induction process to help you thrive in the position.
* Be a passionate advocate for the children and young people of Worcestershire and confidently deliver training to a wide range of audiences.
* Engage in constructively critical conversations with settings to identify and effect change.
* Use up-to-date theoretical knowledge of autism and relevant practice in your role.
Our team is situated in the Inclusion Support Services Team of Worcestershire County Council.
