Location: Liverpool / Hybrid (2–3 days from home)

What You’ll Be Doing
Managing the onboarding and vetting processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements while delivering a seamless experience for new employees.
Key Responsibilities
* Processing security clearances including BPSS, UKSV, Home Office, and MOJ checks
* Coordinating criminal record checks and supporting managers with legislation guidance
* Verifying right‑to‑work and supporting visa processes in line with UKVI requirements
* Setting up and monitoring Occupational Health checks
* Managing onboarding activities, including issuing employment offers and contracts
* Checking documentation and data accuracy to prevent delays
* Liaising with internal stakeholders and external bodies such as UKSV, DBS, and Home Office teams
* Verifying identification and obtaining employment references
* Maintaining and updating vetting and HR systems
* Responding to queries from employees, managers, and external partners
* Ensuring all processes meet compliance and GDPR standards
* Supporting data accuracy through regular file audits and data cleansing
Requirements
* Strong administration experience with high attention to detail
* Experience using multiple systems and managing data accurately
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
* Excellent communication skills across different channels
* Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
Desirable
* Knowledge of UK right‑to‑work and visa processes
* Understanding of vetting and screening procedures
* Experience in HR, recruitment, or onboarding administration

This role requires a BPSS clearance. You can start once the baseline clearance is obtained (includes a basic criminal record check).
