Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant Location: Kingston upon Thames Contract Type: Full-time / Long-term Start Date: Immediate or As soon as possible About the Role: Protocol Education is looking for a compassionate and proactive SEN Teaching Assistant to join one of our partner schools in Kingston upon Thames. The successful candidate will support pupils with a variety of special educational needs (SEN), including autism (ASD), ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs. Responsibilities: Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with additional learning needs. Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver individualised support plans. Encourage pupil engagement, independence, and positive behaviour. Support pupils with personal care or physical needs when required. Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment. Requirements: Previous experience supporting children or young people with SEN. A caring, patient, and adaptable attitude. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
