Job Role: Care Worker
The Care Worker will be expected to help and assist the team with day-to-day routines including personal care and feeding.
The Care Worker must have at least 6 months experience in care and be compassionate.
Care Workers help with the day-to-day care of patients, either in homes, hospitals, or in patients' own homes.
They are vital members of teams in hospitals, care homes, and clinics.

As a Care Worker, you will work under nursing staff supervision, alongside other Care Workers.
Your duties may include:
Helping patients with washing, showering, or dressing
Serving food or assisting with eating
Making and changing beds
Turning patients to prevent pressure sores
Talking to patients to reduce anxiety
Assisting patients with mobility
Providing toilet assistance and managing bedpans
Maintaining a tidy ward or home environment
Managing supplies and equipment
Daily tasks may involve using mobility aids and escorting patients between departments. With experience, you may train new healthcare assistants.
