With manufacturing facilities in Canada, Spain, the UK, and the U.S., we are scaling globally to support the increasing demand for our solutions. We are seeking Scotland-based Field Service Engineers to repair and maintain Airedale and other manufacturers’ refrigeration and air conditioning equipment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Carry out all repair and maintenance work on Airedale and other manufacturers’ refrigeration and air conditioning equipment to a high standard of accuracy.
2. Work closely with customers and liaise effectively to ensure satisfaction.
3. Promptly submit paperwork, including site reports, expenses, and timesheets, within prescribed timeframes.
4. Report daily activities to the Service Team Leader to ensure availability and productivity.
5. Coordinate with other Service Support Engineers to ensure timely completion of work.
6. Maintain a professional attitude towards customers to promote the company's image.
7. Follow health and safety policies and procedures at Airedale and customer sites.
8. Maintain excellent attendance and be able to work outside normal hours, including weekends.
Required Education & Qualifications
* Experience servicing, maintaining, and repairing chillers and chiller systems.
* Ability to work with control systems for fault diagnosis, servicing, and repairs.
* Experience working in high-pressure environments.
* Strong electrical skills, including reading detailed electrical schematics.
* Strong mechanical skills related to water and refrigerant systems.
* Knowledge of different compressor technologies (e.g., Screw, Scroll, Turbocor) is advantageous.
* Organized, proactive, and self-managing with good communication and reporting skills.
* Full UK driving license.
* Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office suite.
* Excellent customer service and face-to-face communication skills.
* Controls navigation knowledge such as Carel or Trend.
Preferred Qualifications
* CITB Safety Handling of Refrigerants (F-Gas 2079) qualified or equivalent.
* Health and safety training for Skills Card (preferred).
* CSCS Skills Card (preferred).
* IPAF/PASMA certification (preferred).
* SSSTS certification (preferred).
