Communications and Engagement Officer Job Title: Communications and Engagement Officer Salary: c.£33,500 Location: Stoneleigh, Warwickshire with agile working Working Hours: 35 hours per week Contract Type: Permanent Are you a creative communicator with a flair for digital content and a passion for storytelling? The National Farmers’ Union (NFU) is the biggest farming organisation in the UK. We're proud to make a difference for all our members, by shaping attitudes towards British farming and leading the charge on a range of major issues, from climate change and food standards to rural crime and broadband rollout. Purpose of the role & how you will contribute: As Communications and Engagement Officer, you’ll play a vital role in shaping public perception of British food and farming. You’ll create compelling digital content, lead on innovative campaigns, and coordinate impactful events that support the NFU’s policy and lobbying work. By collaborating across teams and engaging diverse audiences, you’ll help amplify the NFU’s voice and drive meaningful change for the agricultural sector. What you’ll bring: You’ll bring a strong foundation in PR or communications, with hands-on experience creating engaging digital content, including video and graphics, for social media. You will be degree qualified or have an equivalent level of experience. Your project management skills and event experience will help you deliver high-impact campaigns on time and on budget. With excellent communication and interpersonal skills, you’ll confidently engage diverse audiences and collaborate across teams. Your creativity, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure will ensure campaigns are both compelling and effective. Further details are outlined in the attached role profile.
