Description Summary and purpose of position: The role holder will carry out induction and refresher training for new colleagues which will incorporate manual handling training, Safe systems of work, policy sign offs, uploading and maintaining the HDN Training Matrix and service the training requirements for the shift. The role holder needs to have flexibility to support other shifts and in other locations depending on business requirements. Duties and responsibilities Supporting on-line training sessions and warehouse operations training where required Carry out induction training for new or agency colleagues Carry out all aspects of MHE training for colleagues Carry out Manual Handling Training Carry out Fire Marshal Training Support other shifts if required Visiting other sites to provide training if required To be able to attend training courses and webinars on alternate shifts The above list is not exhaustive Experience, skills and attributes: Essential Training Skills Ability to work alone and in a team Minimum of 3 years operator experience on MHE Hold Counterbalance and Reach truck licenses for 3 years Good Communication skills Ability to communicate at all levels PC Literate Flexibility Desirable Experience as a Mechanical Handling Equipment instructor Health and Safety understanding and awareness Career path/ Linked roles: Warehouse Assistant Training Manager Warehouse Supervisor Driver Trainer If you are interested in applying for the role, please do so by providing a copy of your CV prior to 29/08/25.
