This is a unique opportunity to assist in the launch of two of Marriotts most dynamic brandsAloft, known for its bold design and social energy, and Residence Inn, crafted for longer stays and residential comfortin one vibrant destination. Position Summary This role is for a confident communicator who is comfortable in a fast-paced service focused role. A proactive problem solver and team player, who builds a fun and relaxed environment that makes guests feel at home What Youll Do Prepare and cook dishes to a high standard in a fast-paced kitchen. Maintain consistency in quality and presentation Collaborate with the team to create a smooth kitchen operation. Preparation, set-up, service, clean up and restocking of the appropriate prep areas of food Restock, take deliveries, plan orders, and organize BOH areas Cleanliness of the kitchen area Follow all food safety, licensing and health and safety policies to work safely Food handling according to HACCP regulations (product rotation, temperature maintenance and record keeping, storage procedures etc.) Candidate Profile Education & Experience: Previous experience as a Breakfast Chef in a fast paced environment. Technical Skills: Strong cooking techniques and kitchen knowledge. HACCP Trained: Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
